I’ve been a fan of Brad Thor’s Scot Harvath series for a while. I like the characters and enjoy the fast-paced action of the special ops stories. He’s a friend of a friend (Thor actually named a minor character after my buddy in one of his earlier books) so I was excited to meet him.

I got a chance to hear Brad Thor talk at the Poisoned Pen Bookstore in Scottsdale. He was promoting his new novel, Full Black, which I also purchased. It was fascinating to hear him talk about his writing process, and even more so about the publishing industry.

Brad is a big Second Amendment proponent, so he really liked my shirt!
